How to Make Every Time Valentime

- Husbands and wives need to spend quality time together not just on valentines day but at least once a week.  The daily cares of life, paying the bills, doing chores, work, can take its toll on the marriage putting a strain on the relationship.  Time for undivided attention, talking on matters geared towards having the same mind, peppered with fun and laughter is essential in keeping the love alive.  Philippians 2:2 says, "complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind."

- One busy couple with 3 young children has the habit of saying "I do" every night before they retire for the night.  This is their way of saying "I commit myself to you today" despite what has passed that day.  They might have had a disagreement or misunderstanding that day but despite all that, they have not missed saying these 2 words to each other.  "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:31-32

- Amidst the rigors of corporate life and several trips abroad every year, one husband makes it a point to write his wife a love letter every month without miss.  He doesn't e-mail it but rather, he writes it on stationery, sometimes using different colored pens to express his love.  There is a special call to husbands to love their wives as Christ did the church.  He is called to give his very life for her.  To love is to do something out of the ordinary for the beloved and it's up to you to be creative in showing that great love!  Remember that age old adage "Expressing love increases love".  "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." - Ephesians 5:25

The bible is truly our guide for life.  It's the ultimate manual guide for life, complete with instructions for success in our daily living.  Let's study it!
