  1. My 2016 bible verse is:2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Since we are living in uncertain times it is wonderful to know that God has equipped us with everything we need to live a good life.

  2. My 2016 Bible Verse is : Psalm 119:50
    New International Version (NIV)

"My comfort in my suffering is this:Your promise preserves my life."

Life may bring a lot of trials that may push us to almost give up, but HE is there to comfort us in times of need. The answers may not be direct for what we ask for, but there are plans that will suit us better.

  3. 1 Corinthians 13:13
"And these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."

I believe that anything and everything that is rooted in love is good. Love heals everything. It is the solution to all that is wrong, to all that is evil in this world. Love is what keeps us alive, love is what keeps us happy. This 2016 I hope to love more. Starting from myself towards the people that mean to me. To love is to let go, and let God.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Whenever I read that bible verse I feel like God whispers to my heart and said "My child, don't agonize yourself about the things you are going through. I'm walking with you." It feels like He is always there lifting me up whenever I'm down. He never let me felt like I'm alone and lonely. All the burdens and insecurities seems to fade when I read that verse.

  7. My Bible verse ever since is from Corinthians 13:4-7 (Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

2015 had been a pretty rough year for me with all its extreme ups and downs but God has graciously restored me everytime. And this year, I hold on to this promise that no matter what others say, no matter what comes my way, no matter what I will do, His love is deeper and greater than anything and nothing will ever be able to separate me from His great love. Praise and honor be to His great Name.

  10. The bible verse that will guide me through 2016 is: "The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame." (Isaiah 58:11)

I happen to come across this verse when a friend of mine made me picked a card from her bottle of written bible verses, it was mid-semester last year (around November) and i was struggling with problems and life so when I read this, it felt like a sign. So ever since, Isaiah 58:11 indeed guided me to just keep my faith in the Lord through tough or easy times for He will never leave us.

Everything happens for a reason. Embrace your flaws and turn your problems into challenges, but what's best is to always have faith in the Lord. Surrender yourself in Him. He will not lead you to the wrong path. When things don't go well, just pray. 😊

  64. My 2016 bible verse is - "How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver" Proverbs 16:16 - Taking this with me this 2016 because every person should realize that being rich will not make us happy, but it is having a deeper vertical relationship with our God and a horizontal relationship to the world. Spread love ❤️

  65. My 2016 bible verse is - "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, beacause you know that your larbor in the Lord is not in vain" 1 Corinthians 15:58 - This verse always gives me the assurance that everything that I do for the glory of the Lord will never be wasted. It also gives me courage to continue life because I know that God will always be with me in good times and bad. We only need to be still.

  66. My 2016 bible verse is – "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes."
    [Psalm 37:4-7]
This verse reminds me to always desire for God. Sometimes our life doesn't go the way we want it to be, but if we seek for God we will learn how to see the right things to do and to be patient in waiting for His right time.

This verse has always been a reminder to me that anything is possible if we have deep faith in God. I hope this verse may continue to inspire us, and with prayer and good deeds, anything will be possible, in God's time.

  71. My 2016 Bible Verse is - "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:6)

This is my favorite verse in my whole life. I chose this verse because I believe that God is the source of all life, and as stewards of God's creation, we must do the right way, we must speak the right truth, and we must live the way that Jesus did.

I hope I can win in this contest.

  72. My 2016 Bible Verse is - "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." - Genesis 1:28

This verse is one of my favorite and vision in life that i wanted to share with you brothers and sisters.. "Be fruitful" is to grow our relationship with God and to perfect our heart thru embodying HIS characteristics.showing love and care for the humankind., "Multiply", to create a beautiful family (and now, i already have..that is vertically inclined with God. And "have dominion over all creatio"n ..by taking care of the things here on earth.lke natures, land, water..etc,.all of it the way HE always take care of us.. =)

Thank you and God Bless all of us=))

  73. My 2016 Bible verse is found in Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

This has been my favorite verse ever since God awakened me from self-centeredness to living a life totally sold out to Jesus. Every time I would declare this during my quiet times with God, I am reminded that this life I live is never about me (what I want, what would make me happy) but rather it's about Him. He owns me and I owe it all to Him.

  75. My 2016 Bible verse is "For with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37 King James Version (KJV)

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

I just want to share my experience this year. Our 2nd sem started this January and I wasn't able to enroll due to my unpaid balance. I asked God why is this happening to our family and I even lost my interest going to church. But my Mom forced me to go to church with her, it's a good thing she forced me because I was so blessed with what our Pastor preached about this verse. Have faith because with God nothing shall be impossible after that I prayed and ask God for His forgiveness for questioning Him, and I also ask Him for a blessing so I can pay my balance after that day my Dad called us saying we are so blessed because his salary was released early and with that I am now officially enrolled.

God is good. Just have faith and ask for his guidance. With God Nothing shall be impossible.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

This verse always reminds me of how forgiving and loving God is. Everytime I lose hope, I just think of this verse for I will know that God is always with me and strengthen me! For he is the Lord and he is always with us.

"And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."

There can be a lot of discouragement around us now a days, but this verse reminds & encourages me to have the right mindset & not give in to negative thoughts! :)

  78. My 2016 Bible verse is...

1 Cor 13:8 "LOVE NEVER FAILS.."

I believe that above all the failures and difficulties I've encountered in 2015 and will encounter in 2016, love is the only thing that keeps me going. Whether it be love of family, friends, special someone, classmates, neighbors and etc, we all share the same love which radiates into good things and makes us better versions of ourselves. We share the love we have in our hearts to other people, as God has commanded that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves and also as He first loved us by giving us His only Son to die for our sins.

As cliche as it is, love always wins and never fails! ;) In 2016, I vow to share my love to others.

"I am with you always." -Matthew 28:20

This my favorite, because every time I read/remember this verse, it makes me feel that I'm not alone. That God is always with me, he will never leave, and he will protect me. That makes me feel that I'm always safe. Also, when I have problems, it was like I'm not the only one who will solve this/those problem, that God is with me, and he'll help me. That's all thank. Good luck to us guys, and God bless us all! :)

"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever" -Psalm 23:6

This is my favorite verse because as I face this year, 2016. I believe that the Lord can make any situation pleasant, by the anointing of his Spirit and the joys of his salvation.

  81. "Submit to God , and you will have peace; then things will go well for you." (NLT) -Job 22:21

This verse cheers me up (always) whenever God had me in a waiting period, especially right now that I'm still waiting for my Data Flow Application report. I've been holding my current life for this stuff. I sacrificed everything - I remain unemployed and spent all of my days studying in able for me to be prepared to an incoming battle (to pass the HAAD exam for Nurses in Abu Dhabi). Sad to say, there are really things that we can't control and it just happens. But, I never gave up! I tried so hard to pull myself together, keep my hopes high and elongate my patience more. But then, I'm still waiting and there's nothing I can do but, to wait.

Until I realize, that I shouldn't be putting my life on hold. Instead, I should imitate the habits that can grow my strong Faith by: Praying, Keep believing and just simply put my hopes into plans and goals. I should stay active, NOT passive because God cannot steer a parked car! I need to turn the ignition and start driving anywhere to do the things I know I could be doing to develop my skills and become more like HIM; And whenever things don't work out, I should not end up grieving over the death of a dream nor giving up that dream!

The point is: God never fails us! and I know that HE wants to give me the desires of my heart but first, I need to turn them to Him; And only after submitting to Him, He can help me rebuild that dream all over again!

So here I am now. I Surrender. I let it go and I Let GOD.

PROVERBS 22:6(KJV) "Train a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it."
This has been not just my fave passage but a commandment to myself ever since i became a mom. Children are blessings from God, we as parents are their caretakers here on earth. So whatever we teach our children early on, they will carry for the rest of their lives.

This verse is perfect as I start a new chapter of my life. I'll be graduating in a few months, and hopefully, get a good job as soon as possible. And knowing that God is watching over me, I know I'll be fine.

  84. My 2016 Bible Verse is - "For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten son. That whoever believes is Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
This was the first verse i've ever learn in the Bible. Everytime i read or it pops in my mind, it reminds me that we have a savior that we should trust and believe to have eternal life but its not literally an 'eternal life', it means that the heaven is the place where we can live eternally. so for 2016, i'll make this verse my motivation to read the Bible with sincerity.
