Mask Workshop 🖌

Come join the Crafty Mask Workshop!  Make something beautiful to wear and to use as decoration for your home!

Masks have been around since 7000 BC.  They also play a unique role in Philippine indigenous culture.  They are popular in theatre productions and parties.

Masks can be as elaborately painted with a multitude of elements or these can also be embellished simply.  Take your pick and express your personality through your mask!

This is a great activity for children.  Pack away their gadgets and help them be creative for a change!

The papemelroti family of artists grew up making their own toys and wish to share the joy of creating with others through the Artisan's Workshop!

These events will be conducted by Lyn Acorda, our resident papemelroti workshop teacher.

Seeing people who really love and enjoy the craft projects at the papemelroti Artisans' Workshop is Lyn's favorite part in her work.  The Batanguena is always eager to teach how the featured crafts are made.

It is Lyn's goal to help all the workshoppers who attend her classes to discover their hidden talents and to not be afraid of doing simple artsy things.   She also hopes that all the students and visitors would be able to share their what they've learned to others.

It is her vision for children to focus more on hobbies like art instead of being engrossed in gadgets.  We couldn't agree more!
